Tenure-Track Associate Professor · Mentor
Ying Wen is a Tenure-Track Associate Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Mentor at the Shanghai Innovation Institute (SII). His research focuses on reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and foundation models, spanning theory, algorithms, scalable systems, and real-world deployment. He received the CoRL 2020 Best System Paper Award and the AAMAS 2021 Blue Sky Track Best Paper Award.
He received his MRes (research) and PhD in Computer Science from University College London (2016, 2020), under the supervision of Jun Wang. He obtained his BSc from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (2015).
